Buckley River Project

The Buckley River Project is a single granted EPM located approximately 40 km south of the Mount Kelly Project.  Two main prospect areas have been outlined; the Anthill Prospect and the Johnson Creek Prospect (Figure 10).  CopperCo is targeting a third production area for the Lady Annie Operations.  Of some six targets at Buckley River, two prospect areas have been prioritised, namely the Anthill Prospect and the Johnson Creek Prospect.  In December 2007 the company announced an inaugural Mineral Resource Estimate for Anthill.

The zone of mineralisation lies between 30 m and 100 m, below surface lying beneath an upper geochemically leached and barren regolith zone.  Some drill holes have been extended below the oxide zone and have intersected ore grade transitional chalcocite sulphide mineralisation.  Future drilling programs will specifically target the deeper sulphide mineralisation (Figure 9).

Kennedy Gap

The Kennedy Gap Project area comprises two EPM’s surrounding the Buckley River Project.  Previous exploration within the project area by various companies has outlined a number of base metal anomalies which have been subject to limited follow-up work.  Large portions of the project area are concealed under Quaternary cover, however, several significant faults have been interpreted to trend through the area and represent conceptual targets for fault related oxide copper and sulphide mineralisation.  The project area is currently at the early stage of evaluation.
